Need help determining a noise and how to fix it, please help me!!
Well guys, i've been having this problem for about 2 months now. I keep hearing this extremely loud poping, crunching, cracking noise coming from my front left side of my 00 civic si. I thought it was my suspensions but now im not too sure. Everytime I accelerate from a stop, or accelerate and turn from a stop, or brake hard to a stop i hear this god aweful noise that sounds so loud, i think my wheel is about to fall off. I can even feel it through my floorboard poping!! I have gc coilovers and koni reds, and they've only been on my car for about 8 months. I've already tried switching the sides of my front suspensions, thinking that the sound might switch sides too, but same result and same sound coming from the front LEFT of my car. I've already taking my car to 2 honda dealerships and neither can determine what it is, they just say put my car back to stock height. (my car is only about an inch and a half lower than stock). What is strange is the sound occurs more often in the rain, and that everytime I auto X, the sound vanishes for like 2 days, but then comes back in full force. This sound only occurs when im traveling 0-15 mph and when turning, accelerating, braking. Can somebody please help me or suggest what to look at next? I've already tried clubsi, but no one there knows sheeet. Anybody's help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

Thats what i thought at first, but I doesn't seem to sound like a cv problem, the timing of it. It pops like it has more to do with the suspension set up, i dont notice any problem in acceleration, and my front left cv seems Ok. Is there anyway to make sure its not my cv?
Jack the car up in front start it and run it that way.....strait then turn the wheels left and right......there are two CV joints per side....could be the internal ones......check to boots for excess grease and also look around the area and see if you see grease spraied across the body.
Don't really hear it when hitting a bump, i do hear it when im going straight at low speeds. I'll try and check the cv joints again. Thanks to everyone for your help.
