need help with deck height and compression height
i am trying to mix match some parts to use a long rod so could you ppl check my math
lets say i have a engine with deck height of 9.00" inches my stroke 3.5" rod is 5.5 and compression height of 1.75
deck height 9.0"
stroke 3.5
rod length 5.5
compression height 1.75
(3.5/2)+5.5+1.75=9
now lets say i want to use a 6.0" rod
so i would need
deck height 9.0"
stroke 3.5
rod length 6.0
compression height 1.25
(3.5/2)+6+c=9 c=compression height
9-7.75=1.25
c=1.25
