Default Need help with b20 vtec?

All right heres my situation. I recently just got my b16a head redone with 1mm oversized crower valves and a 5 angle valve job. Well today me and a friend of mine who works at a local tuning shop were going to put the head back on when we noticed after we cleaned up the block that there was a small hole about the size of the tip of a ball point pen in my number 1 piston, so i asked him about how much would it run me for a rebuild. he added up for parts and labor was around $800+, or he said i could upgrade to a new b20b with 0 miles everything installed for $800. i asked a friend of mine that wroks at a shop if i should go with the b20b block or pay 800+ for a rebuild. he told me that there would be alot of tuning issues with the b20 block with a b16 head.

i just wanted some opinions from people who have done this, what would be involved, or if i could just bolt it all up and go?? any info would be great
thanx
Brandon
