Default Need help ASAP vtec problems

So yesterday i did some basic work on my car. I changed my oil pan gasket and i changed my distrubitor o ring. Then after i was done i started up my car let the oil make its way through the car drove like ten miles then i decided to get on it and no vtec :/ also my check engine light has been on ever since i did the work. At first i thought it was because maybe i removed the dizy so drive for a lttle and it would go away but nothing. The lights still on and no VTEC. Im assuming if i fix the vtec the light will go away. Heres a pic of my soliniod. I think i might have knocked that wire loose. Any suggestions? Wiring is definatly not my strong part

Here's a similar connector but works the same. Remove the white clip on the inside first

Then push up and back on the pin like so

You'll have to resolder the wire back on the old pin or get a new pin and solder it to the wire.

As far as the clip do what hondahero said, or cut one off another car and solder it on the existing wire on your harness. And as far as I know vtec will not engage when you have a check engine light. Did you know what code its throwing? Also when you get the code off and vtec still doesn't work then check your oil level and or vtec solenoid screen.
