Default Need Help asap.......really high idle

I just put my itr intake manifold on my friends 99 civic si and just got done and he went to start it and the car revs to 7 grand by itself....i cant figure out what is wrong with it.....just wondering if anyone else had this prob or knows what is wrong....please help me he needs his car done asap....thanks

check your throttle cable make sure it is routed on linkage right

the cable is probably too tight, loosen it a little bit

did yu make sure to get every piece of the old IM gasket off...thats what happened to my friend and I...we scarpped it all off after and the problem went away
