Default need help asap

I recently had valve adjustment done--as soon as i left car began to idle low and mis also it seems like when i hit the gas pedal the response is poor, then after a second it responds--when driving when I put the clutch in the car drops down on the idle then slowly dies out and I have to restart the car to keep going.. the shop is giving me the run around. I already checked the plugs and wires-what could have they fuked up--Need to know before taking it to another shop so I dont get screwed again.

Are you sure they did the valve adjustment correctly? You need to provide more info, like what kind of engine?

first question i have is... how was the car running before you took it in? then why did you have the valves adjusted? where they making noise? and are you sure it was the valves and not your fuel injecters? sounds to me like they messed with more thaen just your valves, and are trying to get you back in for more money. go buy a hanes manual or a chilton, that is my bible for fixing my own car. and they have a troubleshooting section that heads you in the right direction. as for your problem and you taking it to another shop be very careful that they don't screw you over as well. best of luck to you gloria

did you take it to the gas station down the street or a dealership, the only place I'd have a valve adjustment done is a dealership if i didn't do it myself, becase if it was some place that have never seen anything other then v8s the valve adjust plates are gonna be different thicknesses
