so i was doing a tune up and everything was all well untill i changed the fuel filter, the car cranked and went to strat and just cut out. i open the distributor and see that the distributor ignition module had white resedue on it and smelled burned. could this be the cause of the problem? i am getting power up until the distributor right after the distributor i am getting no sparks coming from the plug wires.
