Default Need help

Working on my gf car (not honda) ac I'm replacing compressor drier condenser and expansion valve. Got everything apart but no oil came out of anything? New compressor came with 5.3 oz. service manual says comp 4.7 drier 0.3 evap 2 condenser .5 suction hose 0.3 and tht adds up to like 7.8 oz? But then it says the formula is new compressor oil 4.7 - old compressor amount equals the amour that gets distributed into everything else? So does it get 5.3 4.7 or 7.8 I'm lost

What year/trim/engine combo are we working on?

Are you flushing the system or just replacing parts? If you are just replacing parts (compressor and drier) then I'm with the 4.7 plus the .3.

Also I'm going to install a inline filter? Any input or advice? Where should it exactly go?

You don't need an inline filter in an ac system. They already has components for this purpose.

Normally you just need to remove the glove box to remove the evaporator.
