Default Need help!!!

How can i tell apart if the wire harness is obd1 or obd2???

what model? like integra gsr or ls or civic harnesses? what car and motor do you have? what engine are you tryng to get a harness from?

well i have a 98 jdm b20 in a civic hatch

and i ask cuz i would also like to know how to tell from any car or engine.
is there a diagram or something that show how to tell apart??

and also i wanna know how to tell jdm engines from usdm engines cuz idk if this guy is sellin me a legit jdm gsr longblock.

well im sure if you search you can find diagrams but then from obd1 to obd2...obd1 harness have to plugs for the distributor while the obd2 only has one...if your using a vtec harness on a non vtec motor then youll have the vtec plug unplugged...and if your using a non vtec harness on a vtec motor then you would have to wire it straight to the ecu...

to determine if the guy is selling you a legit jdm gsr block it should be stamped b18c on it..usdm gsr are b18c1

injector plugs are different, obd1's are usually gray and the ones that lock with the c clip; obd2 's black in color and has push tabs on the sides
distributor plugs, obd1 has 2 connectors and obd2 has 1
obd2 will have a crank sensor plug on it

some differences
