Default Need help!!!

Okay so I have a 98 civic and if i remember i have some ground control springs. I had an old friend install them. So ever since Ive had these springs Ive noticed that the driver side of my car is much lower then the passenger side. Does anyone know why its like that? I think it has to do with my shocks. Please someone help. I don't know what I need to do.

If they're springs and not the GC coilovers, then either the spring has sagged, or you have a blown shock. If they're the GC coilovers, make sure they're set to the same height as the other 3 corners. If they are, then either the spring has sagged, or you have a blown shock.

So if it the springs that are bad. What do you suggest I should get to replace my springs? I want to go with CO but what kind is good? I want my car to be low enough to fill in the 17 that i have with no rubbing. Also thanks for the help.

If you're sure you have springs and not the GC coilovers, then try to verify that it's a sagging spring and not a blown shock. If the spring is sagging, it'll look more compressed than the spring on the opposite side. If this is the case, then you'd want to replace your springs. If you're unsure about what ride height you want, then the Ground Control slip-on coilovers are the best of that type, and you'll want to consult a dealer or GC directly to find out what spring rates will best suit your needs. You'll want to match the GC coilovers with a good set of shocks as well if yours have a significant amount of miles on them, and especially if they're the original stockers. Koni yellows and GC coilovers are widely considered to be an excellent suspension combination, but if you're looking for something more affordable, then you could probably get away with a lower priced shock. There are also a lot of bargain full threaded body coilovers out there now, and they're all priced in the same ballpark, so you'd need to do some research on those. Some people will love one brand, others will hate it, so it's up to you to make a judgment based on all the information that's out there(use the search function for specific brands you're considering - Omni, D2, Ksport, etc).
