Need CTR valve lash ASAP
i need the valve lash for ctr. just finished the swap and adjusted the valves and still ticking... it is for a b16a with ctr pistons, cams, springs, and retainers... thanks
I think the intakes are .006 and the exhaust are .008 but you can run .007 on both and be perfectly ok. It's easy to remember and allows a slight bit of leway, as they are both +/- .002
i did 6 and 8 seems to be fine the clicking seems to be coming from the bottom end
but i just had it rebuilt, bearings, seals, etc. it also smokes every once and a while... is this normal will it stop once it is broken in?

.17-19mm intake / 25.4 = .0067"- .0075"
.19-21mm exhaust / 25.4 = .0075" - .0083"
hope you get that bearing knock worked out. did you recently install cams? if you dont get the cam cap specs right sometimes they will knock a bit 18-20ft-lbs on the 12mms and 6-8ft-lbs on the 10mms
does it knock until heated up? is it a a knock knock knock or a knicka-knicka
if it is fast it is in the block due to 2 rotations of the crank to one of a cam.
If it is slower, chances are it is in the head. Been there dude... hope you get it sorted out
