hey. ive got an h23a1 engine with about 180km on it. anwyas i was over at a performance shop and the guy has a used digital super AFC from apexi. its basically a computer that taps into ur ecu and modifies air flow to optimize ur air/fuel ratio at the touch of a button. Basically hes gonna give it to me for like $400 bucks installed! ALL i wanna know is.. is this a good thing to do and will it ruin my engine or anything like that???? . thankss.

 

If the engine is unmodified then about all you will do is ruin your fuel mileage or ruin the engine.The stock ecu calibration isn't that bad.There are better ways to spend the cash.

the engine is somewhat modified. i have an aem short ram intake and full 2.5 exhaust

those are bolt ons not engine mods

 

any suggestions of better ways to spend the cash then. ?

 

spend your money on something else like cams or something
