Need advice on ECU...Please help!
Well my ECU is messed up, and my rev limit is at 7,400 rpm! I dont like it obviously, so i have a few options. Now, as far as i know, this is the only thing wrong with it...It drive fine, idles dine, etc...just hits a revlimit at 7,400 where it should be 8,100. Its a GS-R OBD-1 P61 ecu, and i know its the ecu, because a buddy of mine put his mugen p72 in it, and it revved to 8,300 no problem. i stopped it there simply because im not dumb but so it is the ecu. Help me with the options.
1) Just chip the P61 with a Spoon program, and that should raise the rev-limit and you will be fine.
2) Buy a P72 and Chip it.
3) Buy a p30 and chip it ( i really dont want a p30 though... )
4) Buy a p28 and chip it.
Seccondly, i am going to be reducing my timing and running a 50 shot of nitrous soon ( dry ). I know this is risky with a chipped ecu, but i am having my VAFC set up to make sure i do not run lean, and getting colder plugs as well. I heard the spoon program is a nice, conservitaive program. I have CAI, EXhaust, VAFC and a exedy clutch. do you think i will be fine? The motor is in great shape, burns no oil and it is a b17a1. Please help me here HT

I got this kit for a great deal, and im going to get 310 prelude injectors before i run a 75 shot with tuning on the VAFC.
What are the advantages of getting a chipped p28? Isnt that a SOHC vtec ecu?
Thanks people!
