Default NEED ADVICE ON WHICH BOTTOM END TO GO WITH

the car is currently a '90 Integra LS B18A1 with some mods. the plan is to do a complete changeover with a better engine and build it up for street/strip. right now, I have a B16A2 head with all Skunk2 internals and bolt ons. figuring out which block would be the best overall to go with it is what I'm having a hard time with. one guy suggested that I get a B20B/Z block and go that route. another guy suggested that I get a B18C block and make it into a type R. right now, I'm going for all motor. later on, I might check into doing turbo, supercharger, or boost. I don't have much engine knowledge and I'm not a mechanic. so, any advice with explanation would be greatly appreciated.

thanks-
Brett

this is just a vague questions that requires a lot of research. if it was me.. i'd just go lsvtec since you got the block and head. b20 has nice torque, but you'll have arguements on both sides saying rod/stroke, ect ect. doing a b18c block wouldn't be worth the money.. you lose ~50cc displacement, gain a slight increase in rod/stroke, and compression ratio, but you can always swap pistons anyways.. ect ect.. it goes on forever, that's why I say you need to do a lot of research. lsvtec still leaves you with the option of turboing/SC/whatevering yur car, and is cheap. for about $200 more, you could get the oil lines, and a cheap vtec switch, as well as the other small parts needed (gaskets, ect). any more questions feel free to shoot me a PM
