Default NA B20VTEC with stock bored sleeves

I was told you should not bore out the stock sleeves on a B20. Well I did and to 85 mm. After 2500 miles there is still no problem with the engine and I'm running 11.5:1 compression. So my point is build it the right way and keep the compression under 12:1 and you should be fine. Here are a couple af pics from the build up and the result in my CRX EE8:

Two IB Spec Wisecos with Probes

7 lbs. CM flywheel

IB 2.5" collector for the JG header

The result

And from behind....

It made 202 Bhp and 220 Nm untuned with full exhaust so it pulls great... still with stock B16A cams, head, IM and TB.

So the Danish CRX's didnt get ABS eitehr? You lucky guy!!

My UK B20 conversion is out of thec r because I sold the car and boughta SiR. The block also fell off the crank side mount as it was damaged in the CR-V that it came from so having to re-build. Doing well on power, now swap the intake side of things and see another 10bhp
