My windshield wipers swing too far!!
This morning on my way to work I couldn't pay attention to the road because every time my wipers would come all the way up, they'd hit the side of the pillar where it meets the windshield. I had to turn off my wipers cuz it was so annoying. I waited a couple minutes and turned them back on and they were fine. Anyone else have this happen?
Loosen the nut holding the wiper to its shaft. Turn the wiper arm so its parked in the right position. Tighten the nut. It was probably loose in the first place.

Weird, as of new years eve, mine don't go down all the way, unless the windsheild is wet and it's easy for them to move. I don't understand it.
Mine did that after getting a new windshield. All I did was uncsrew the manuting bolts, and rotate tha wipers a notch or two CCW. Problem solved in 5 min.
it might be your motor. on my old car they do that, only when there is a lot of water on the windshield. no matter how much i adjusted them down, it would still swing an extra 3-4 inches in heavy rain. when it was just pissing out they would work fine though.
