Default Is my tranny throwing in the towel?

Ok, so I finished a DOHC ZC swap into my 90' Si last weekend, and am using the ZC LSD Tranny with ZC Axles. Everything went smooth, and its been fun as hell to drive. But yesterday, I was playing around with the timing, and fuel pessure and took it out for a rip down the road near my house to see if everything was fine. Im in 2nd at about 6.5k and I shift into 3rd and it grinds like mad. I pull it out, then put the clutch in and put it into 3rd again. Do a u-turn and go home, pull into my drive way and it wont go into 1st, 5th, or reverse AT ALL. What could be wrong? Blew a gear? Just somthing simple like shift linkage? I didnt have time to look at it last night, so I will be taking it out when I get home.

Tranny fluid was put in when the engine was last weekend with GM Syncomesh, 1.9Ls. Theres no leaks, and I checked the clutch calbe already, everything seemed fine. But somtimes I heard a slight squeeling noise when starting from a dead stop, it only happened a few times, but it sounded like metal on metal.

it still doesn't want to go into first and fifth? try putting it in with the car off. then try driving and rev-matching. downshift into second or third and rev-match. then try doing it without rev-matching. finally, sit stopped with the car warmed up and try to put it into first. now, get moving, then slow down slowly. at 2-5mph, try to put it into first without rev-matching. report back.
