i just picked up some skunk2 lowering springs for my 91 hatch. its suposed to be a 2.25" doop in the front and 2.50 in the rear. My car didnt drop any lower than stock. would that mabye have anything to do with my new full bushing kit i put in last month?? Mabye over torqued or could it have been a manufacturing flaw??
I'll send you guys a pic of front and rear wheel wells in a few days. but fyi, with the springs in i sill have 6.25" of wheel well showing above the tire!!

6.25" of wheel well gap? That would mean you raised your car, and that's just not right.
Something is horribly wrong with that. Springs settle a bit after a few days but that seems a bit much. Maybe you got the wrong springs shipped to you? Are you sure that the front springs aren't on the back and vice versa?
Cheers,
Sean

im not for sure because i asked like 5 people with lowering springs and none of them new if the larger diamiter coil springs went in the front or back
It would stand to reason that the heavy end of the car gets the heavier (thicker) spring. I think you go them backwards. Thanks for the good laugh, you made my day.

Just some advice. When you put the springs on when you lower the car, sometimes the springs get caught up in the strut area. Check to make sure there isn't anything caught up there. If that isn't the case, then you might have put 'em on wrong. Or the wrong springs were shipped too you.

that was all could make of it thanks for the conformation just felt dumb and frustrated with noone helping me at shops (Blown off on the phone) anyway thanks again didn't want to jump into a 2-3 hour project by myself in a 30 degree shop on a hunch. anyone want these springs by the way got them for $155ish shiped unused, knicked sat on the gutted 1400 pound car (check my sig, please no fluff dont have time) for two weeks $100 bux, looking to fill the wheel well with 15s and tuck without rice rims
what springs are good for a name brand spring to hit a 3.0 front drop and a 3.25 rear drop to levle it out (no coils just want it done and know what i want. give me feed back everyone im me
)
