That round peace you circle is bented turn it strait out and yes if it looks like that, then it up side down.. Turn it over. That last part should be pointing to the right, driver side..

i cant get out the pin, what do u guys use? i dont want to mess up any thing and have to buy a new tranny or something

I have problems with my pin too.. It in there pretty tight. I just use a bolt that has the same size as the pin and pack on it pretty hard to get it out.. Took me about 20 mins of banging, so you know how hard it is..
Or you can go to a parts store, buy some 8mm pin to get the thing out.. Dont it will come out if you hammer it hard. Take your time..

I'm not sure what the technical name for it would be, but they make what looks like a center punch that has a little bit of a nipple on the end, and a tiny bit of a lip around that nipple, so it fits against that pin real nice. Just tell them at any hardware or autoparts store what you're trying to do and they'll sell you one, probably for no more than a couple bucks. It'll totally be worth it when you see how much easier it is.

i just took a small punch and tapped around the edges of the pin and it came out fine no problems at all
