IS my SAFC broken?
Here's the story, I'm looking for some answers. I had LS turbo with SAFC and 450's in old hatch. Bought new hatch and put SAFC into it and it doesn't turn on. It worked perfectly in my old car and it was lying around for a few months, when I went to wire it up, it doesn't even turn on. My question is, if the wiring is correct, could the SAFC be ruined or bad?
I checked the wiring several times, and belive i'm good there. I just got the car and it does have a bad battery ( I was showing 11.2 volts). I charged it overnight on trickle and it was 12.67 and still no power. I have power at the power wire and it is grounded correctly.
I'm puzzled, as I didn't even put the motor in yet - I just wanted to wire up the SAFC - but even that isn't working.
ALSO - Can I check my SAFC by plugging it into a car that is already wired with one to check and see if it is functional.
BTW the car is a 98 Civic HB CAN production.
Thanks.
