Post My Honda Statistics Study

I have a big statistics project coming up where I need to run some tests on any topic I choose, so naturally it must be about Honda’s!

GOAL:I’m going test EPA estimated mileage against the mileage that we gather, and also analyze how different motors swapped perform economically. To perform this this study I’m going to need lots of samples from the population… you! Below is a form, if you’d like to help with the study please fill out the information and post it up!

To keep this survey as organized and simple as possible, still with productive results, I am limiting it to 4th and 5th generation Civics only, with either B series or D series engines.

I have two months to complete the project, and the more people there are the more accurate the study will be! Obviously I will post results when finished, so please help make this a success! Thanks in advance to all who help out!

FORM
Vehicle: (year, car, body style, sub model):
Drivetrain: (engine + auto or manual trans)
Modification level: (stock; low [bolt-ons]; medium [mild internals ect]; high [heavily built engine ect]; and/or boosted)
Driving Style: (passive, normal, or aggressive)
Mileage: (highway, city, or combined)

SAMPLE FORM:
Vehicle: 93 civic coupe ex
Drivetrain: d16z6, 5 speed manual
Modification level: low
Driving Style: normal
Mileage: 25 average

*** Of course, in a study like this there are many lurking variables that could also be tested, but this is as far in depth as i've decided to go for this project which should produce successful results regardless.

You might want to add a line for boost vs. all motor mods, because I predict that fairly heavy all-motor builds will still have close-to-stock fuel economy, while even mild turbo builds will have lower economy.

i dont know too much about boost, didnt think itd make a considerable difference, but good, thanks, will do, thats another thing to test, boosted vs un-boosted.

Beating the EPA mpg ratings is so easy it makes it very obvious (to me anyway) that their testing methods are inaccurate.

Vehicle: '92 DX hatchback
Drivetrain: B16A 5-speed
Modification level: low
Driving Style: normal
Mileage: 30-38 mpg

You would get a lot more responses if you had put this in one of the Civic forums.
