want to rebuild for all motor is the head done with or can it just be resurfaced?

how much money, we talkin about, im willing to pay, i do have a b16 in my car now, should i just build that head, and forget about this one?

what kind of head is this one? what is done to the one shown, the only reason i fixed my head when is was like this is because it was worth it, i had a JGE redline head and didnt want to pay everything to get the head work agian. the price depends on what shop you go to, try a local machine shop first

the machine shop guy is a friend of mine, he charged me 100 but im not sure about other shops

its not really all that bad. if you can manage you could even take a dremel to all the combustion chambers and and make them all smooth and the same. if you dont really care that much about the money you can take it to a machine shop for sure. the most i could see you spending is about 300

your not going to just be able to take a dremel and smooth it out and it will look like new...you can take the high spots off but you will still see the damage. It won't hurt anything but it will be ugly. I would do that and mill it if it were mine. I would bet there is a bent valve or two in there as well.

yeah well the whole valve train is gonna be replaced, just wanna make sure its still worth building this head, or if i should just build my b16 head

i would suggest that for $375 you send it to laskey racing an they could restore it to stock with a 3-angle valve job
