My friends argument

Hey u guys i am in a hugh arguement with my friend about puttin a blowoff valve on a NA car. He said u can just put it right on the intake and it will make the car sound like it has turbo.. but i am like but the blowoff valve wont build up pressure in a intake to make it blowoff and hes sayin u dont need pressure to make the blowoff valve blowoff... tell me how wrong he is... thanks i need this ASAP...!!!!!!

no it won't work, on NA car, there is no intercooler, so it won't be pumping in air into the intake pipe.

well, I've noticed that no one has taken the time to explain to the poster what to say to his friend.. So I guess I will..

Ask him what BOVs are for, what thier function is. If he doesn't know, then explain it to him.

or tell him to visit http://www.howstuffworks.com.

That should pretty much shut him up.
