My car is over heating ??????
my car is over heating , my cooling fan stopped workin ? before i bought a new motor for it , i straight wired it to my battery and it worked ? so what could the problem be ??? the fuse to it is fine ?

yeah i straight wired it , to make sure it was bad , it wasnt bad i dunno what the prob is the fuse to it is fine ya think it is the relay ??? some one told me it was the temp sensor but on my car when you start it the cooling fan always comes on .

This info is needed to know if the car has a seperate cooling fan "timer" unit..
If it doesn't have one, it should be an easy fix...
If it does have one, it will prolly be a nightmare!

another issue that I have recently discovered.. cars that do use a timer unit have the switch on the positive circuit, thus meaning.. power is NOT applied to the fan at all times.. power is applied to the relay when the ignition is in the "on" position, and waits for a response from the timer unit to activate the relay to turn on the cooling fan..
