been doing this for about a month now. it usually happens when i am at light throttle. around 2-4K rpm, on the freeway mostly. it only happens a few times a day. it will start to studder, if i give it more gas, it starts popping really loud and i usually let off. sometimes i will stay on the throttle it will continue missing and sometimes it will not. when it starts and then i let up right away, about half the time it will studder again when i give it gas again, the other half, it will be ok. this has never happened to me during WOT. i have replaced:

cap/rotor
plugs
wires
fuel filter
fuel pump
checked ignition timing
checked cam timing
and i am halfway through a tank of injector cleaner.

problem still persists. now today, i threw a code on my way home and i was all excited that this could lead me to a solution. damn code 1 (o2). so i'm kinda stumped for things to do now. injectors? o2? map?

PLEASE HELP ME

i just reset the ecu and went for a drive, the code never came back on.

Answered your own question...bad O2 sensor causing you to run rich...

 

hopefully you're right. i just disconnected my o2 signal wire (open loop) and went for a 20min drive on the freeway and it never fu**ed up. but like i said, it only happens occasionally so only time will tell. pray to the honda gods for me

 

my ls did that sometimes and it was the spark plugs.

 

probably is the o2.
