MUGEN Tools???
I have heard grumblings that Mugen, somewhere in their crazy minds, makes tools....do i have bad info? If not, is there somewhere i can score prices/specs....thanks again!!
What a ******* joke. Yest they do make some little crappy tool set. Why would anyone buy Mugen tools? lol Snap-On and Craftsman are much better tools at a lot better prices.

yes, they do have a tool kit.

IMO you'd have to be either retarded or filthy rich to want to buy this thing. It costs $700 from http://www.jdmhondaparts.com You could buy a much better selection of tools from craftsman for that same price.

well the whole point is the mugen kit is meant for mugen technicians... not for consumers...
I count 16 tools total. My friend, who's just starting to buildup his professional toolset as a serious ASE, has already dropped 10 large and probably has over 1000 tools. Unless those Mugen techs are McGuyver with a damn swiss army knife, they'll have a hard time working on motors and the like with 3 open-end box-ends.

no not in that it's a GREAT tool kit, it's that it's not MASS produced for consumers, and that's why the price is 7 ******* hundred ripoff bucks.
it would suck cause those dont have no kind of lifetime warranty like snap on and craftsman have, cause tools break and you are SOL if you break em, maybe for show points but thats about it.
Who actually thinks that real Mugen technicians pay $700 for that thing? It probably costs $10US in Japanese Yen. Looks like an emergency tool kit that's carried in the car, NOT to be confused with a set that a "real" mechanic would have in his garage.
It's funny how a $10 set of tools costs $690 to ship over here.

No sense whining over it. We all obviously can't afford a lousy 16 piece Mugen tool set priced at 700 dollars. Even if you can, I'll still be done with my engine swap before you. Good luck removing a motor mount with those open ends.

Don't speak for me! F1 Mechanics use Snap-On as well as Beta, Facom and KTC. Desired function depends on the person (size of hands...), not country of origin. Mugen employees do NOT use these tools, it’s a novelty for consumers, and they do manufacture the aluminum tools, which are machined in house. The gears are vendored through contractors (like other tool manufacturers). How do I know this? My friend works at the Asakadai branch and makes them. He also gave me one, which was imperfect-Mugen’s quality control is very impressive, even for a Japanese company.
