Mugen Formula 1 valve cover??
Ok so I periodically browse ebay for parts when I'm bored, came across this guy with this posting for Ultra Rare Mugen valve cover. I've never seen one like it so I'm kinda curious if anyone else has seen one or knows what kind of engine it came off of. The guy selling it has no clue and is just going by hear say. I personally think anyone spending $2,300 on a valve cover is either uber rich or insanely retarded. So if anyone can shed some insight i'd love to know more. If the link on the bottom doesn't work just type in mugen valve cover in ebay and it'll pop up.

mugen supplied engines to several F1 teams during the 90's. is that thing authentic? only a mugen engineer that worked on those engines would really know.
I honestly couldn't tell you if it was authentic or not this being the first one i've seen. I was aware they did make a valve cover for some F1 cars in the 90's, was wondering if this was one of them. I do think however that regardless of how rare it is the seller is not gonna be able to sell it. Not on eBay anyways, its pretty much just a collectors piece with no real world application as far as the average guy who would be looking up parts on eBay.
Someone also correct me if im wrong but dont F1 engines have two valve covers like a V8? So wouldnt that mean this guy has only half of what should be a pair?
I'd drop a few coins to own that, but not $2300... That guy has way more Honda pride than I.
Im with you there, I wouldnt mind having it and hanging it in my garage next to all my other banners and pictures and stuff. Be a cool conversation piece, but not at $2,300
