Will to much oil prevent VTEC from engaging. Its on a b18c5 and the oil is WAY past the 2nd marker on the dipstick. We didn't have time to drain and change the oil but was wondering if to much oil will cause to much oil pressure for VTEC to not work. Or to much oil will drag the oil pump to not produce enough oil pressure. No codes are being thrown and everything seems to be hooked up right. ECU also has been resetted. This is on a friend's 2000 type R.

 

drain that oil out... you'll not only get lots of blowby but mess up your rings as well?
