has anyone ever had problems with the msd coils going bad? i went through 2 of them already within a 7 month period. i do alot of driving also. im running the msd SCI-L ignition box on a ls. anyone know what might be wrong?

 

I had a MSD one too, but it was used and only lasted me a year. Now I have the Crane Hi-6, but it's starting to emit some loud ticking sound.

 

what coil ar eyou running? I burned through 2 of the blaster coils, switched to the smaller square type cols and havent had a problem since.

i ran the ss coil at first. it went out. and then i used the blaster coil. then that went out also.
