MSD 3 step wiring help

I have searched some, and haven't really had any luck. Obviously I know the plug goes to the msd box, then there is a red wire (power), a braided silver cable type wire (ground I assume), then two signal wires, red and blue labeled launch and race. I'm not planning to use full throttle shift right now, so I just wanna use one side of the 3 step and hook it to my ebrake, until I get my line lock setup straight. Can anyone help on the wiring?

Contact MSD, thier tech support is damn good and they can tell you how to best hook it up.
