Default msd 2 step & msd module selector, same thing?

wondering if the 2step is the same as the module selector. i know that the 2step takes individual pills and the selector has a wide range of settings but can the module selector be used as a 2 step by itself.

can you just plug in the module selector into the ignition rev limiter and have it work like a 2step?

The module selector is just an RPM pill that can be adjusted to different settings. It works just the same a the standard RPM pill just has a dial on top to set different ranges. Just plug it into the 2step box and you'll be fine. The module selector is not a 2step by itself though.
