mpfi-dpfi and obd2-nonobd question
I have to do the mpfi swap. But i have the JDM B20B which is obd2. I was wondering when I do the swap if I could wire up the current injectors? Would I also need the injector resistor? thanks

im pretty sure you can use those injectors you just need to bypass the resistor box because the obd2 injectors have a built in resistor.... anybody else agree?
anyone else? wait if two wires go into the resister & 4 come out, how would I wire them up if i only had two wires? How do i know which wires are + & -?
Would it be ok to still run the injector resistor anyways?
thanks Blaze

Yea just pull out the resistor box.... nonOBD ECU's are setup for low impedance injectors that's why they use and external resisitor pack.. Newer OBD1/OBD2 injectors are high impedance and have their own internal resisitors, therfore DO NOT RUN THOSE YOUR OBD2 INJECTORS AND A RESISITOR BOX The way that your those two wires work is simply this... when you power up your car those get a 12volt + constant signal.... You can take those two wires and "Y" them together so that they are connected once again just as they are in the ECU... From there you can "Y" it off again to each individual injector wire... On an OBD1/OBD2 engine loom such as your B20 they will be yellow with a black stripe... On the nonOBD stock engine loom that you have they will be red with a black stripe.... Lemme know if you need anything else.. Peace
