I just swapped and b20vtec into my 93 CX hatch, I am using a B16A2 head. The promblems consist of this.

No vtec engagement... (no oil pressure or vtec solenoid filter needs changing?)

I have CEL codes 6 and 21. I checked #6 but it seems to me i need a new ECT sensor and code #21 i will go buy a new filter and changed it out hoping it will fix the problem.

I wired the vtec solenoid to pinout A4 which is a orange/white wire not yellow/green. Then i wired the knock sensor to pinout D3 which is a brown wire, and the vtec oil pressure i wired to pinout D6 which is orange/blue.

sounds like yo udont have it wired to a4 if the wire color wasnt right.
same with d3 its not suposed to be brown either.
hell it looks like you got all3 wires in the wrong place to me.

 

maybe your counting the pins wrong?>

 

yah i might be.... ill check it out. cause i agree with colors not matching but maybe i did get the pin out wrong. ill look
