Default Is the motor shot?

im about to go check compressioin but when i check the oil level it goes half way up the dipstick everytime. What does this mean? When i went to my this morning about a quart of oil was on the ground but i can't find where it is leaking from.

If they are really overfilled they will loose power and smoke real bad on accelleration. Doesn't usually cause any damage. Drain and refill it.

u might have a bad head gasket and if your oil gets to high it will start busting seals and stuff because the oil pressure will get high

haha im bout too


update: i think that the place i bought the motor from didnt drain the oil , and then i added more in. oh well. Im gonna change it later tonight after i get back from DC.

I would definately change the oil, and be sure to keep tabs on how much drains out. If it seems excessive, then you've found your problem.
