Default motor problem

i was cruising down the road the other day going about 60-65mph went to shift into 4th accidentally shifted into 2nd for a sec. but put it back into 4th with the quickness. Stopped at a stop sign with clutch in and car wanted to die. Now I have tapping, power loss, and it jumps rpms like0 to 1 1/2. Any opinions on what it is? b/c I think its my valves, they have to be bent!
