motor mounts???
You're kidding, right.... probably not.
The motor mounts are made of rubber and are between the car and the engine. Both have metal brackets that reach out towards each other, but the actual connection between the two is with rubber blocks.

in a 98 civic the motor mounts are located as follows, one on the right side (all driver point of view), connected to the valve belt cover. two on the front, you'll have to get under the car to see them, one on the left side, holding the tranny, and one, main one, in the back under the intake mani.
