Motor issues?
Just got done with my swap recently (b18c w/92 GSR tranny into 91 Crx SI) and took it out for a spin. It runs o.k. and I could fell the vtec kicking in @ 4400 rpm but don't even notice the secondaries. I am running the obd1 ecu and have the iab connected to A17. Only codes it is throwing is 41 which I'll fix when I get a new 02 sensor. Could this be the problem? It also runs like it has no power, loud as hell but doesn't accelerate much faster then my stock motor, is this normal?? What is going on with the secondaries? My car is running very lean, spark plugs are white? Just did a compression test and all seems to be o.k. @ 190. Just order a fuel pressure regulator and gauge to increase the fuel pressure. Will this and the new 02 sensor fix these problems? Your help is greatly appreciated, thanks.
I heard that all honda 4 wire 02 sensors are the same, is this true? If so, I just went to the junk yard today and took 2 sensors off from a 90 and 91 Accord. Tried both but still getting the code 41, could somebody please give me that website with the ecu pinouts for a GSR, thanks.
For those who had experience with the swaps, would the stock CRX injectors on the obd1 setup cause me to run lean because my plugs are white or would I have to switch it to obd1 injectors? Would I still be safe to drive it to and from work?
