this is the problem with my motor. i was driving and all of a sudden my motor started to lose power like it was dying. i was giving it full throttle but still no power. i thought it was the dizzy but it's good. the motor do not smoke. i just changed the headgasket about month ago. i'm thinking i'm lossing compression but i'm not sure. now when i start it up it won't stay on unless i give it gas. but as soon as i let go of the gas it turns off. what could be the problem? help me out guys

 

Well for starters, pull your compression numbers.

 

why do you think you're loosing compression? check your fuel setup, kinda sounds like you're loosing fuel pressure.

 

i puled my sparks plugs to check them. they are black, do that mean i am running to rich?
