In a couple of months i am looking to rebuild my motor with the following:
JDM ITR pistons 11.35:1 compression on my gsr
00-01 ITR cams w/ skunk cam gears
OEM honda headgasket
ARP studs
New timing belt and water pump
Maybe a light p&p
The motor has 111k on it and is leaking a little bit from the headgasket.
I have been doing pretty extensive research, but would like to hear some opinions, and also some input on other potential items that might be needed. I have heard of some itr's puttin down in excess of 190whp on stock compression and stock cams. My goal is roughly 185whp. Is this realistic? or am i dreaming.

P.S tuning will be down with cam gears, fpr and vafc.

Oh also prior to the build i will have a j's intake, king ported tb, and skunk mani.

Nice set up, you'll be fine.

 

You should meet your goal easily.
Maybe think about HOndata for fine tuning.

Yeah stop being a ***** lane and just get oversized CTR pistons. 12:1 is your friend. Who you gonna have build your motor? mumbles...please don't say Ben...
