Default more torque? lsvtec? Poor mans R?

what would have more torque if built relatively the same?

well, the smaller stroke will have the same or more peak torque as the ls/v; just at a higher rpm. The ls/v;s torque will drop off at a lower rpm than the longer rod/shorter stroke
the ls/v will have more low/mid end though. More area under the curve.

thanks, thats what i figured. I like the idea of a poor mans R b/c you start with a vtec block, so no oil feed line, no machining of the head to fit dowels, no machining of the rods to fit ARP rod bolts and lastly the block was designed to safely rev to 8200 (my cams make power to 8500rpm).
BUT
the lsvtec will have more low/mid end and thats what i am looking for with my build, that and reliability.
