Default mods advice

income tax time is right around the corner...i"ll be taking a 1000.00 and putting it away for the teg...question is ..what should i do....i know i need a new timing belt,valve adjustment...i want to also change the other three belts...from there im pretty much stuck...will i have enought left for a catback exaust,or maybe a new clutch,should i put new shocks and complete oem rubber bushing kit to keep the ride smooth...all i know i need the timing belt done...i need the valves adjusted and think i need the other three belts changed due to not knowing why my motor makes this whining sound at idle and with reving all advice welcome and i roll with the majority thanks

get the things you need first (timing belt, belts, valve clr., etc.) then the things you want. if you change the essentials by yourself you should have some money left over for whatever else.

i wish i was able to do the essentials myself...so there goes saving a few bucks..

It really is easy to work on cars....minus the timing belt for new guys.....find someone in your local area from the board who is willing to help out for some pizza or beer. Or just a little less cash. Try the pizza and beer first though.
