modified struts and brackets
Hey whats up guys?
About a week ago I saw a thread about giving your strut extra travel,
by extending the strut mounting bracket. They cut the top piece
off where the rubber bushings sit and welded in some extra material.
So if you where to look at it, the treaded part of the strut would sit higher
in the engine bay.
(the piece with two bolts that holds the spring and strut together
, you know the two bolts where most strut tower bars bolt up to)
Here's a kindergarden style pic of what i speak

They also showed how to make your struts sit a little lower as well. It was a cool
thread, it had pics and directions.
I didn't save it, tried the search function with various titles, archived and
recent and all the forums.
I even emailed people, but to no avail. If anyone knows what I'm talking
about about hook me up with the link.
Thank you.
