i have a 00 Si with AEM CAI, apex n1 exhaust, and jdm 4-1 header with testpipe, and soon to be advancing the timing 2 degrees this weekend but i can't decide what to do next. i don't want anything to drastic like a whole new valvetrain or turbo but maybe like a vtec controller or pulleys and cam gears? what do you guys think? are pulleys worth it? any suggestions on what ot get next? thanks

 

i'd stay away from the pulleys. go for the cam gears, they'll reap good power when tuned and dyno'd. the pulleys take too much out of your electrical system and it's not worth the few horses on your setup. electronics like a vafc won't do you too much either but it's good to have in prep for a increased setup. good luck

I wasted my $ on AEM pulley kit. My AEM fuel set up helped with gas milage.

 

get the CTR intake cam...trust me...plus, u'll hear vtec like u've never heard before..its a good cam..its reliable..good luck man

 

Get a Quiafe or factory LSD High Final drive, light flywheel, and clutch while th tranny is down.

how about just some interior engine work. new rods, pistons, cam shaft, lightened fly wheel, hondadata stage 1?

 

The easiest and most obvious answer is V-AFC. You can tune more power out of those. Then follow that with Cams and Cam gears. If you don't want to do both at the same time then do the Cam Gears first.
