Default Mixing Gm syncromesh & Honda MTF?

is it a good idea or is it better to mix them, or have one or the other?

I personally would not mix them. They likely have different additives and I don't know how they would react.

Mixing them is the best method, according to an article I can't find ATM

Something about straight syncromesh being too slick, and straight MTF not being slick enough. I personally think straight syncromesh works the best.

I've never mixed the two, but have run GM Syncromesh. . . . Personally I feel Syncro is the better way to go. But thats only my opinion. Not really sure on the mixing part though. . .

Zinc, something that is missing with today's oils.

Look into breaking in V8's cams and the lobes wearing flat.
