Default misfiring system, replace turbo and exhaust?

prob a dumb *** question but its good to ask questions.

is it true that when a misfiring system is installed turbo/exhaust would have to be replaced every month? if so, why?
its always good to learn new stuff.. and im new to this forum

do you mean one of those systems that allows you to build boost off the line by dumping fuel into the manifold then igniting it?

that sure will put a lot of strain on the turbo, but enough to replace it every month? maybe if you do it from every stoplight.
