I'm having a misfire on cyl 2 & 3, so far i have tested spark, fuel, tryed 2 dizzy's, tryed 2 ecu's, has brand new wires, injectors are good, and valve lash is in spec. motor is a bone stock 97 GSR (107k miles) the kid told me he came to a stop and the car just droped idle and had a mis?! i checked the timing and its good aswel! firing order is good. I am going to do a comp test on it today (the adjacent cylinders make me think it's the HG) could a HG really cause two cyl's to not fire? i know i need to do a comp test to pin point the problem, but could anything else possibly cause this that im over looking?

have you check spark plug wires?

 

it ended up being the exhaust valves.
