Misfire in Cyl 3
I keep trip the same misfire code in cylinder 3, even after tuneup, new plugs, wires, cap, rotor, etc. Any advice? I can turn a wrench but am no means a mechanic. Thanks.
Is the misfire only at idle or at driving speed as well? Could be an intake manifold leak. Usually if it gets better as the RPMS rise it indicates a vacuum leak. If it remains with the rise in RPMs it is either spark, fuel or compression issue. Also in addition ohm out your injectors to see if cyl 3 is off.
I'm leaning towards a bad/clogged injector. You'll know the injector is bad when you switch injectors with another cylinder and the mis-fire follows the injector.
Are you getting any other codes?
