Default Mini-Me Tech Question

Guys, I'm finishing up my mini-me swap for my crx. I have a '89 crx dx....the stock engine is a d15b2 w/dpfi.

I'm installing a mini-me in the following configuration:

MPFI/OBD1 w/Kenji chipped P28 ecu & JK obd0-->obd1 conversion harness
Block - d16a6 from a 90 crx Si
Head - d16z6 from a 93 Civic Si
Intake Mani - d16y8 from 96 & up EK 5 Spd.

QUESTION:

1. What throttle cable and fuel line should I use?
2. Since the Y8 IM is obd2, what should I do about the MAP sensor on top of the throttle body?

Any help is much appreciated.

I don't know much about the single cams, but if you are using the map sensor on the firewall, just forget about the one on the throttle body.

1. HF or Si should be fine.

2. Plug the hole and use the stock MAP, or lengthen the wire harness to reach the TB mounted MAP.

I'd use the map sensor that's in there to plug the hole. Why do you reccomend removing it?

It looks ghetto, and won't pass emissions in CA.

I don't think it looks that bad. How do they consider the map sensor an emissiosn component? I almost don't want to know, CA is pretty wierd about some stuff.

Probably because it has a key role in the fueling of the engine. You know what it does, right?

the valve widths between z6 and a6 block are quite different. the z6 ports are spaced wider and the stock a6 piston valve reliefs will not match the z6 head. apparently people get away with it, but i would be leary of excessive cam timing changes, head milling or high lift, or high rpm for that matter.

I would make a small little aluminum bracket with two holes on the ends for the bolts that would normally hold the map down. I would cut the bolts down in length and reuse the stock black oring underneath the bracker. Both that sucker down.

Or you can use the map that belongs there and extend the wires from the firewall to the sensor.

Thanks for the advise...I think I'm going to do that.
