I have a head form a 93 vx (vtec head 1.5) and im going to put it on a 96 d16y7 bottom end. The 93 vx motor is buring oil like it going ou tof style. (quart a week)
What do i need to do the head swap. ie. (timing belt, head gastket, any other parts)

Do you need to run any oil lines like you do with a LS/VTEC?
Will the d16y7 motor rev ok? (Its for my G/F's car not a big deal)
Is there ANY draw back to doing a mini-me motor?
What will the compression be? What will the HP be? (Is the swap worth it??))

I have all the parts for the head so thats not a big deal and a full d16y7 motor.

no external oil lines are needed. and the z1 has 92hp and 97 ftlb torque. the y7 has 106hp and 103 ftlb torque. the c/r is hard to say. in fact i cant say for sure.
