Yea i was wondering about his too. My friend has a 95 SOHC Si motor in his 92 VX. We ran it with a DX tranny while i was rebuilding his Si one and squeezed his ZEX on it. I'm pretty sure that didn't help out the rings any since the car doesn't feel like it used to power wise and now it smokes. I was wondering what is all has to be done for me to put his head on a 96+ DX block. I have built LSVTECs before but i have never done a DXVTEC do you have to do I have to do it the same way running oil lines or are the SOHC blocks set up differently so that running oil lines is not needed. Also what does everyone think about running ZEX 75hp on this setup if i end up doing it. Will the bottom end hold up, are the DX rods too weak. Thanks in advance!
